A collection of abstract fluid paintings portraying the thoughts & feelings of early Motherhood. The newborn days. When you’re up at 5am & feel like you’re the only one awake, even though millions of woman are awake with you feeding their child.
‘Nourishing You’ is a whimsical piece of abstract art that Sarah created to illustrate the natural flow & happiness felt during weaning. Sarah felt the pride that she had bought, prepared & stored fresh, healthy foods & the pure joy from watching her baby get accustomed to foods & the happiness he showed. Can you see the little embryo style form in the bottom left of the canvas? That was naturally created as the paint flowed freely & now all Sarah sees in this painting is a Mama overlooking & nourishing her child. A magical piece for your collection.
All pieces from this series are limited edition original mixed media acrylic paintings on premium canvas.
Each piece has been hand painted by Sarah using a mixture of acrylic, resin paints and mixed media to create shine & texture.
